As 501(c)(3), the Wissahickon Mills Foundation is eligible for restoration grants and it recently applied for such to the PA DEP Coastal Zone Management (CZM). Please see the summary of the application as made in a presentation to CZM Dec. 3, 2025 - we guarantee you will receive new & interesting information about the area around the mill: Wissahickon Mills Resilience CZM Presentation 3 Dec 2025 FINAL.pdf

In December 2025, WMF will apply for a Local Share Account – Philadelphia Gaming Funds grant. This "LSA" grant application is a ‘first-dollar’ $365,000 preservation grant to repair the Porch and Steward’s basement. See the separate page for background on the Porch project.

In early 2026, we may apply for a 50-50 matching Keystone - PHMC (Pa Historical and Museum Commission) grant. This project would support prioritizing structural repairs to the Robeson Rolling Mill, ensuring that preservation decisions are informed by sound scientific and engineering analysis of unique local challenges. A primary focus is on evaluating the impact of nappe vibrations—structural tremors apparently caused by water flowing over the adjacent Ridge Avenue Dam, documented to occur at specific flow rates (200–300 CFS)—on the stability and integrity of the mill’s historic structure.
