It's that time of year again!   We will be doing our 2nd annual Brandywine Run on New Years Day.

Paddle pleasant moving water with ripples and class I rapids in between.  Woodland, fields and the occasional rock formation border the river as it passes through park lands and farms.  Time on the water for this 5 mile paddle is approximately 2.5 hours.  The East Brandywine is approximately 50 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.

Afterword head to the club for a pot-luck meal by the fireplace.  Bring food to share potluck style.

Meet at East Branch Brandywine Trail Parking Lot 1085 Downingtown Pike, West Bradford Township, PA  Coordinates: 39.96868963039567, -75.67209783382394.  We will drop off the boats and leave a participant there to look over them while we shuttle our cars to Shaw’s Bridge Park.

Take Out: at Shaw’s Bridge Park, 274 S Creek Road, West Chester, PA 19382.  Coordinates: 39.92152699874464, -75.64441590224087.  At the end of the trip, we will use the vehicles that we left at Shaw’s Bridge to take drivers back to East Branch Brandywine Trail Parking Area and get everybody and their boats back together.
