Whitewater Canoeing - July 5 & 6, 2025

Location: Schuylkill River

No Experience Necessary

This class will introduce you to whitewater canoeing. You will learn safety, how to properly use equipment and learn skills to competently control a canoe in whitewater. Students will taught water reading, scouting, avoiding hazards and river running.

Please dress appropriately. No cotton clothing. Secure closed-toed footwear required, no sandals, flip flops or crocs. Make sure your shoes will stay on in turbulent water. Registrants will receive more information closer to the date of class from the instructor.
