The Friday weather forecast for sun and clouds and a high temperature in the upper 40’s plus expected good water levels from Wednesday’s precipitation should make for a nice cool weather run on the middle section of the Perkiomen Water Trail.  The creek is swift and riffly with easy rapids and moving water in-between.  A 8.4 mile trip past stretches of wooded banks and bluffs and the towns of Schwenksville and Collegeville.  There is 1 dam to portage.  The time on the water including lunch is approximately 4.5 hours.  The Perkiomen Creek is approximately 45 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club
