Basic canoe instruction for the beginner on flatwater to prepare you for future classes.
This class will focus on entering and exiting the canoe, basic strokes to control the boat and necessary gear.
You may paddle solo or tandem. For tandem, both students need to be registered for the class.
Cost: ($20 ACA-Members) ($30 Non-ACA Members)
To receive the discount, please join the American Canoe Association (ACA). The membership is good for a year and if you take 4 or classes or events at PCC, the ACA membership cost will pay for itself. https://americancanoe.org/
Cancellation policy:
1. Students may cancel 5 days before class for 80% refund.
2. No refunds for no-shows.
3. Cancellations 4 days or closer to date of class – refunds will be half price.
