Paddle the attractive tea-colored waters of this beautiful South Jersey river. Navigate the twisty turns on the river’s crooked course. The trip time for this 5 mile paddle is approximately 3.5 hours on the water. We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way. The Maurice river is approximately 60 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.
All participants are required to have insurance from the American Canoe Association (ACA). Trip participants must complete the ACA Waiver and Release of Liability which is attached to this email. Printed copies will also be available the morning of the trip. There is no cost for ACA members who include their membership number on this form. Non-members can purchase a one-day event membership for $10 paid in cash the day of the trip or join the ACA for $40 before the trip. Joining provides ACA insurance when required for Philadelphia Canoe Club events for the year.
