Paddle the clear tea colored waters of this beautiful river. The initial miles are a lonely Pine Barrens passage. Energetic paddling is required around the many twists and turns and deadfall in the river. Then the river comes to rest in Lake Lenape. The head of this man-made lake is an unspoiled area of many channels, swamps and marsh. The lower lake, in contrast has developed shores, but remains attractive. Anticipated trip time for this 7.3-mile paddle is approximately 4 hours on the water. We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way.
