No experience necessary. This course will introduce you to equipment, safety and boat handling on moving water. Class will be conducted on the Schuylkill River. You may take just the first day but you can not skip the first day and attend the second day only.
Instruction is offered solo (1 person in a canoe) or tandem (2 people in a canoe). The class will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Philadelphia Canoe Club, 4900 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia.
