This two-day intermediate class is designed to improve river running, surfing and play boating skills.
CLASS DATE: July 21 & 22, 2012
CLASS LOCATION: Lehigh River, White Haven, Pennsylvania
COST: Adults: $100 -- Minors (12-18 years old): $50 (Price includes boat, paddle, sprayskirt, lifejacket and helmet).

Water Type:
Class II The classic Lehigh run. Lots of play, great for novice / intermediate paddlers. More play than the lower sections, but water isn't as big. Class II. Somewhat shallow at normal release levels. Gets much more interesting 4kcfs+.

Water Type:
Class III This is the lower section of the lehigh. Bigger features, more flatwater, a bit less play than the upper section. This is generally considered the better run by the locals.
There is no direct gauge, so inflow from sidestreams has to be inferred between the dam and Lehighton.
